Through the example of local lord Kikkawa Motoharu, you reflect on what it truly means to be a samurai. You’ll lessons discover and values from history that are still relevant today. Through swordsmanship practice in full armor, you learn the importance of mental focus and discipline. Then you enjoy a samurai meal at a nearby traditional Japanese restaurant.

Itinerary

Meet your guide at Roadside station Mai-road IC Chiyoda. Board a private car to the Sengoku-no-Niwa Historical Museum.
Arrive at the Sengoku-no-Niwa Historical Museum.
Samurai experience begins (armor dressing, katana training, and Tameshigiri test cutting). Train at the Historic Site Kikkawa Motoharukan Ruins.
Board a private car to Shikinoie Ayakura.
Kaiseki cuisine lunch using local ingredients.
Return to Roadside station Mai-road IC Chiyoda by a private car. End of the tour.
