Itinerary

  • You meet your guide and driver at Hiroshima Station and drive to Takehara, where you stroll through the streets of buildings dating back hundreds of years, visiting a sake brewery and old merchant’s house. Then you drive to Tomonoura, where the popular Ghibli animation “Ponyo” was set. After seeing the sights, you stay in the town. Dinner (included) is at your accommodation.

  • After breakfast, you leave the hotel and drive to Onomichi and visit SenkĹŤ-ji Park with its expansive views over the Shimanami KaidĹŤ and nostalgic arcades near the port. Then you drive west to SaijĹŤ, nestled in the mountains. SaijĹŤ is known for its sake breweries, and you can tour a brewery and enjoy a tasting. You return to Hiroshima Station where the tour ends.
