Kanba Falls

The waterfall is one of the largest in western Japan, with a 110-meter drop. It’s a stepped waterfall with a smaller drop in the upper part. However, the upper part can only be seen from the top. The waterfall is particularly beautiful in autumn. There’s a cave nearby with stalactites called Oni-no-ana.

It takes about five minutes to walk to the bottom of the waterfall on the well-maintained trail from the carpark. Wild Japanese macaques inhabit the area and can be seen along the trail.
