How to Use the Coupon
Open the coupon screen and have the staff scan both barcodes 1, and 2. before you pay. On top of your 10% tax-free saving, the extra 7% or 5% discount is applied automatically by product category.
Important
- Some products eligible for the reduced tax rate receive an 8% exemption (not 10%). A separate procedure and handling fee may be required for tax refunds.
- Tax exemption is available only to non-residents (those who have resided outside Japan for more than 2 consecutive years) who can present a valid passport, applicable visa, and necessary documents.
- Eligible when the total daily purchase at the same store is 5,000 yen or more (before tax).
- You must depart Japan within 90 days of purchase and complete customs inspection/removal of goods. Physical inspection is required at departure — please go through customs before checking your luggage with the airline.
