Mimido
Mimido is a scenic bend at the confluence of the Kuma and Omogo Rivers in Kuma Highland. A sheer limestone cliff topped with pines rises to a height of 37 metres, with a deep pool on one side and sandbar on the other. It’s a very distinctive scene, which presents a different aspect according to the season and time of day.
In this deep valley, there’s almost no flat land available, but room has been found for the Mikawa Village Office, Junior High School, and a Road Station.
Just a little way up the Omogo River is a popular spot for swimming.
