Anabuki River
The Anabuki River rises on Mt. Tsurugi, flowing about 41 km through Koyadaira to Anabukicho in Mima and thence into the Yoshino River. In summer, it’s a popular spot for swimming, but year round it’s a good place to cycle.
As it flows from the mountains in the south to the rift valley in the north, it weaves through beautiful gorges that change from season to season. On its tributaries, there are several waterfalls.
The Anabuki is known as Shikoku’s cleanest river, and it’s home to many varieties of fish.
